HN hosted its first healthcare conference on 15 September, bringing together the company’s specialist clinical coaches and staff from across the country for an informative and engaging day of learning, networking, and sharing best practice.

Taking place in Birmingham, speakers included Paul Blane (Managing Director, SVL Care Homes & CB Associate Training), Caroline Brogan (Associate Solicitor, Irwin Mitchell Solicitors), Vanessa Davies (Quality Assurance Director) and Chris Watson (Inspection Manager, CQC).

With more than 50 coaches and administrators in attendance, the conference room was full of vibrant conversations, opinions and thoughts about the future of healthcare and the positive impact that clinical coaching has on patients. A wide range of topics were covered such as mental health, safeguarding, values-based culture and quality metrics.

For most delegates, the conference was the first opportunity to meet colleagues in person.

Alongside the presentations HN held its first national award ceremony, where teams and individuals were recognised for their outstanding performance and delivery of exceptional care.

Commenting on the success of the event, Creenagh Williamson, HN’s Chief Nursing and Operating Officer, said: “It was fantastic to host our first Healthcare Conference in Birmingham. I’d like to extend my thanks to attendees from across the country and to our HN team for organising a superb and engaging agenda, and ensuring the event ran seamlessly. Feedback from the attendees was outstanding and it was a pleasure and honour to be surrounded by such enthusiasm and positivity. I am already being asked about next year’s conference, such is the enthusiasm of this outstanding and talented team!”
