On International Nurses’ Day, in addition to marking the anniversary of Florence Nightingale’s birth, we wish to celebrate our Clinical Coaches. Their innovative work is helping to shape the future of healthcare.
Florence Nightingale once said, ‘I think one’s feelings waste themselves in words, they ought all to be distilled into actions and into actions which bring results.’
Our Coaches deliver results! They work with patients – supporting them, empowering them and helping to build confidence, enabling a more proactive approach to managing their health, achieving their own goals and look forward to the future with positivity and optimism.
This innovative approach to supporting patients is scientifically proven to significantly reduce the number of unplanned hospital attendances and admissions. More importantly, patients experience a better quality of life and feel more in control of their health.
Helping people gain and use the knowledge, skills and confidence to become active participants in their care, so they can reach their self-identified health and wellbeing goals will be a major contributor to the success of healthcare in the future.
We are proud of the difference our Clinical Coaches are making to our patients and HN is honoured to be supporting the NHS.
So, on this special day for Nurses, to the Clinical Team at HN and all Nurses, we’d like to say THANK YOU – for your compassion, dedication, professionalism and tireless desire to make a difference to the lives of others through support and coaching.
Just like Florence Nightingale, you are shinning a light into the lives of patients.
