HN appoints new members to Advisory Board

HN has bolstered its specialist Advisory Board with the addition of two new members.

Heather Cook, one of the UK’s leading digital health innovation and scale up experts, has joined HN, along with Robert Harris, an experienced chairman, non-executive director and CEO in the digital health, medical technology and life science sectors. Wendy Saviour, who joined the Advisory Board in 2020, will be stepping down from her position.

Heather Cook’s recent experience includes successfully building the brand of Brain in Hand, a mental health digital support system. She also has a background in consulting from PA Consulting and brings strategic and brand-building capabilities to HN.

Robert Harris was previously CEO of LHG, an NHS England ‘Multispecialty Community Provider’ Vanguard organisation, and the largest primary care general practice partnership in the NHS. Robert also served as NHS England’s National Director of Strategy and advised ministers on health policy and strategy. Robert brings strategic, governance and business growth knowledge and capabilities to HN.

Joachim Werr, HN Founder and Executive Chair, said:
“We are delighted to welcome Heather and Robert to the Advisory Board and look forward to work with such experienced and successful company builders. I would also like to take this moment to thank Wendy Saviour for her immense contribution during her time on the Board – it has been a pleasure having her with us and we wish her a happy retirement.”

Heather Cook said: “I’m very excited to have joined HN at this crucial time in the company’s development and at this critical juncture for healthcare delivery in the UK. HN’s unique application of advanced data science and AI for screening high-need, high-cost patients, combined with its clinical coaching programme, represents a huge opportunity to support patients to be treated and cared for in the right place at the right time. It’s great to be involved with HN’s fantastic and talented team and I’m looking forward to supporting the company deliver on its objectives in the months ahead.”

Robert Harris said: “When I first saw the work being undertaken by HN, I was both intrigued and impressed. There are many health-tech businesses in the start-up/scale-up stage, but few enjoy HN’s potential. Already an award-winning company with a proven track record, I believe HN can become a major provider of population health management solutions. There are very few companies that I’m asked to work with that truly have the potential to tackle some of healthcare’s biggest challenges, and HN is undoubtedly one of them. I’m hugely excited to be a part of this journey, helping the company achieve its goals.”

Heather and Robert join a well-established group of experts on the HN Advisory Board including Prof Matthew Cooke, Dr Stephen Laitner, Sam Alsop-Hall and Graham Prestwich.
